What is a cusp company.
Companies that are in that moment when product potential is validated and accelerated growth is imminent.
What are we.
We are a CPG venture holding company that uses multidisciplinary capabilities to invest in and catapult CUSP companies into accelerated growth.
What we are not.
We are not seed investors: this means we do not invest in early-stage companies.
We are not pure-cash investors: this means our investments always have an in-kind component.
We are not lead investors: this means we are not the first, nor the largest, investors in a round.
What type of in-kind investments?
Companies receive in-kind investments for the purchase of packaging equipment of approved brands. The in-kind investment will be reflected as a discount in the final invoice and at no point can it be over 33% of the total purchase order.
What industries?
We look for founders in the consumer packaged goods industry. This includes food, beverages, pet food, cosmetics and household products.
How much do we invest?
We may invest up to $50,000 per company and require a flat 5% equity stake in the form of a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity). The flat equity stake does not vary independent on the size of investment.
